Visit the Fila Museum to delve into the history of technical and sportswear fabrics, followed by a shopping session at the Lanificio Cerruti 1881 outlet.


Next, we will reach Ivrea, the city of innovation, to explore the historic headquarters of Olivetti. Admire the Olivetti architecture and discover how this factory promoted the creativity of its workers. Also, visit the evocative 'Red Brick Factory' from 1908.


Finally, in Turin, discover the tradition of Italian coffee at the iconic Lavazza company. A guided experience will take you on a journey through the coffee culture, from origin to tasting. Explore the city of Turin as well, admiring its transformation into a modern design city.

Day 1
Day 1

The tour begins in Biella where a guide from Wool Travel Experience will be waiting for you for an easy walking tour through the city and the medieval village of Piazzo.


Before delving into history, you will stop at a local brewery to taste craft beer and have lunch at one of the city's restaurants.


Next, you will visit the Fila Museum to learn more about the history of the brand of technical and sportswear fabrics born in Biella. Afterwards, you will visit the outlet of Lanificio Cerruti 1881 for shopping.


After leaving the outlet, you will climb the hill of Piazzo through one of the "coste" to reach the historic part of the city. During the walk, you will visit landmarks such as Porta della Torrazza, Piazza Cisterna, and Piazzetta San Giacomo.


The day will conclude with dinner at one of the typical restaurants in the village and a descent on the funicular that has been connecting the two parts of Biella since 1886.


Finally, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

The Wool Travel Experience guide will take you on a journey to discover the textile craftsmanship of Biella and its excellences.


After a lesson on the manual loom with teacher Alessandra, you will visit a craft brewery to taste their beer and an agriturismo to have lunch with their typical products.


In the afternoon, you will explore the Lanificio Botto and the Associazione Amici della Lana in Miagliano to discover the varieties of wool and the work of ancient wool mills.


Afterwards, you will visit the mysterious village of Rosazza and the Cappellificio Cervo, where the entire production cycle of hats of every style and color will be shown.


At the end of the tour, you will return to your hotel for dinner.


This experience will immerse you in the working and social environment of the artisans of Biella, with the opportunity to learn about the history, mysteries, and magic of the Valle Cervo.

The day begins with a transfer to Ivrea, where you will visit Adriano Olivetti's "social factory," unique in history for its network of social services provided to workers to make them free to create. The factory also produced beauty and culture, as evidenced by the remarkable Olivetti architecture, included in the UNESCO Heritage.


You will visit the historic "Red Brick Factory" from 1908, the glass factory with the futuristic expansions by Figini & Pollini, and the residential neighborhood with the nursery and social services.


Lunch will be at one of the restaurants in the city center. In the afternoon, a brief tour to discover the city of Ivrea, from the sacred area of the temple dedicated to the Sun to the Roman crypt in the cathedral, from the famous disputes between King Arduino Primo and Bishop Warmondo to the renowned Carnival of Ivrea.


The day will end with an aperitif and a dinner based on lake fish on the shores of Lake Viverone, with a view of a magnificent sunset, before returning to the hotel in the Biella area.


A fascinating day to discover a little-known city, but rich in legends, traditions, flavors, and entrepreneurial history.

The tour offers to discover a lesser-known side of Turin, taking you on a two-century journey through the city's history. It starts from its past as the capital of the House of Savoy and continues with its transformation into a modern design city, recognized by UNESCO in 2015.


The tour begins in Parco Dora, a former steel and Fiat ironworks area, where you can admire the Church of the Holy Face by Mario Botta. It continues with a visit to the Spina Centrale of Turin, passing by Porta Susa railway station, the Sanpaolo skyscraper, the OGR, and the new headquarters of the Polytechnic University of Turin.


The morning concludes with a guided tour of Lingotto, including a visit to the test track on the rooftop, the first Eataly store, and Green Pee, the world's first retail center for eco-friendly products. After lunch inside Eataly, you will participate in an experiential guided tour of Lavazza, with a final tasting.


The tour ends with a return to Biella to spend the last evening in Piedmont.
