Visiting

Day 1
Day 1

Arrival at the Sanctuary of Oropa and accommodation in a double room at the Sanctuary's Welcome Office.


The Sanctuary of Oropa, the largest Marian Sanctuary in the Alps and one of the most important in Europe, will welcome you in all its majesty and beauty. Its silences, clear sky, the sound of water flowing from the central "Burnell" fountain, green meadows, and surrounding mountains will leave a lasting impression.


Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, meet with the naturalistic guide who will accompany you throughout the day.


Mountain walk starting from the Sanctuary, passing through the chapels of the Sacred Mount, then reaching Pian di Gè and from there the Trappa di Sordevolo.


Lunch at the facility.


Relax and start walking again towards the village of Sordevolo, then take the train that, with a gentle and constant ascent, will take you back to the Sanctuary.


Dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, meet with the guide who will accompany you throughout the day. Guided tour of the Sanctuary, the Sacred Mount, the Chapels, and the Via Crucis.


Descend to Biella and have lunch at a restaurant in the city.


Biella and the Biellese are at its feet and will give you the opportunity to discover other places and views of a less-known but treasure-filled corner of Piedmont. You will stroll through the medieval village of Biella Piazzo, reachable by a funicular, with palaces of families that have made Italy's history, such as the Ferrero and La Marmora families.


From there, you can admire and visit Biella, the world capital of wool and cashmere fabrics, home to prestigious brands such as Ermenegildo Zegna, Loro Piana, Cerruti, Piacenza... To end the day, the sensation of returning to the past by visiting the Ricetto di Candelo, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy, strolling in the evening through its cobbled streets after dinner in a local trattoria.

Breakfast and transfer to the Sacro Monte di Varallo, lunch at the restaurant of Sacro Monte, and descent to Varallo by cable car with a guided tour of the town.


Varallo Sesia, the true historical and cultural capital of Valsesia, captivates not only with its jewel, the Sacro Monte, recognized since 2003 as a UNESCO heritage site but also with its beautiful nineteenth-century villas. It invites you to stroll through its center, where there is no shortage of opportunities to find historic cafes.


Don't miss the chance to visit the Pinacoteca, located in the Palazzo dei Musei, where masterpieces created by Piedmontese and Valsesian artists between the 1400s and 1900s are exhibited.


Return to Sacro Monte by cable car. Accommodation in a double room at one of the two hotels on Sacro Monte.


Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

After breakfast, transfer to Stresa. You will stay in one of the hotels overlooking the Borromeo Gulf, a few steps from the lake, from where you will comfortably depart by private motorboat to the renowned Borromean Islands.


Guided tour of the Borromean Islands. Visit to Isola Bella with the Borromeo Palace and its Gardens.


Lunch at a restaurant on Isola dei Pescatori.


After lunch, continue the guided tour of Isola Madre and return to Stresa by boat.


Accommodation in a double room at a hotel in Stresa. Relaxing moments walking along the lakeside before dinner enjoying a pre-dinner drink (not included). Dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, discover the nature around the Sacro Monte on foot, with a short and easy walk accompanied by an environmental guide.


Lunch at a restaurant at the foot of Sacro Monte, with a magnificent view of the lake.
